The Tailor Room is seeking a motivated individual to join our Sydney team in a
Cellar & Batching
position. This casual role is central to our operations, ensuring our venues are well-stocked and our batching processes run smoothly. If you are a proactive worker who enjoys a physical, fast-paced environment and has a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
Logistics & Inventory:
Receiving and sorting deliveries, while developing a deep understanding of the various brands across our venues.
Batching Coordination:
Working closely with multiple teams to determine batching needs and ensuring all preparations are completed on schedule.
Operational Excellence:
Following strict processes to complete tasklists in a timely manner and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.
Team Support:
Assisting with general cellar tasks and supporting the wider team as required to maintain efficiency.
Requirements
Strong Multitasking Skills:




The ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously is the most essential part of this role.
Numeracy & Accuracy:
Comfortable working with numbers and exact measurements; basic Excel skills are a plus.
Physical Stamina:
Capable of handling the physically demanding aspects of cellar work and manual handling.
Communication:
Clear and effective communication skills to coordinate across different venues and teams.
Bonus Points:
Previous batching experience or a basic knowledge of spirits is highly regarded but not required.
