We're seeking a dedicated and reliable Driver to join our team supporting the Australian Defence Force through our ESS business. Reporting to the Transport Manager, you'll play an important role in providing safe and productive transportation services while supporting Defence operations and personnel.

Role Location:

- HMAS Cairns, QLD

Your responsibilities will include:

- Transport ADF personnel to and from Defence establishments and other designated locations.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and maintain vehicles to a high standard of cleanliness and safety.
- Complete required documentation and maintain accurate records.
- Operate vehicles safely and professionally in accordance with company and Defence requirements.
- Work independently when required while maintaining strong communication with the wider team.
- Support transport requirements for Defence personnel attending training and operational activities.
- Provide excellent customer service and represent the organisation professionally at all times.

What we are looking for:

- Current Class C Driver Licence (essential).
- Knowledge of the Cairns area and surrounding regions.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical assessment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills and ability to complete electronic records.
- Ability to work autonomously and unsupervised when required.
- Flexibility to work weekends and varied shifts as operationally required.




- Strong commitment to safety and compliance.
- Team player with the ability to work effectively within a small team environment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Check.
- Australian Citizenship is a mandatory requirement for this position.
