Riverina Mowerworld is seeking an experienced small engine Mechanic to join our team in Wagga Wagga, NSW. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining and repairing our extensive range of outdoor power equipment. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for ensuring that all machinery and equipment meets the highest standards of performance and safety, directly contributing to customer satisfaction and the operational success of our business.
What You'll Be Doing
Perform routine maintenance and servicing on lawnmowers, ride-on mowers, chainsaws, and other outdoor power equipment
- Diagnose mechanical faults and defects using appropriate testing equipment and procedures
- Repair , service and replace damaged or worn components, including engines
- Keep detailed records of maintenance and repair work completed on each piece of equipment
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair progress, timelines, and costs
- Maintain a clean and organised workshop, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in small outdoor power equipment maintenance and repair
- Strong technical knowledge of small engines, lawn care machinery, and power tools
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and service specifications
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
