About the role
You'll be the person who keeps Holbrook Returned Servicemen's Club running day to day, effectively acting as its Executive Officer and reporting to the Board. A typical week looks like this:

- Set and manage the operating budget, with real autonomy to shape how the Club is run
- Have the bar manager and kitchen manager report directly to you, and oversee general office administration
- Flex your hours around what's on - an early finish on a quiet day, and hands-on involvement for functions like raffles and Christmas events
Skills we're looking for
- Hands-on experience managing a licensed club or similar hospitality and gaming venue
- Confidence handling daily gaming and poker machine takings and financial administration
- Proven people leadership across a small, multi-department team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including setting and managing budgets
- Current RSA and RSG competency cards
Working at Holbrook Returned Servicemen's Club
Holbrook RSC is the hub of this close-knit NSW community, with around 1,200 members and an annual turnover of roughly $2 million. Beyond the Club itself, the golf course, bowling green, and boating and angling groups all operate as sub-branches, so no two days look the same.
Holbrook is a family-friendly country town with two primary schools, a preschool, a hospital and valuable local sporting facilities close by. Move here and a free 3-bedroom home comes with the role - we're ideally looking for someone who wants to settle in and make Holbrook home for the long term.
Inclusion
We encourage diverse candidates to apply, including women, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people from multicultural backgrounds, people with disability, veterans, young people, and people over 45 years old, even if your experience doesn't align perfectly.
How to apply
You will need full Australian working rights and a valid driver's licence to be considered for this position. Additional assessments may apply.
