We are delighted to be partnering with our client a high-profile organisation providing outstanding support for aged care and community services for throughout Victoria, for over 150 years. We are seeking an energetic and experienced Talent Acquisition Business Partner to join the People & Development team. This is an opportunity to play a key role in attracting, engaging and appointing talented people who share our commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of individuals, families and the community.
About the role
As the Talent Acquisition Business Partner, you will manage the end-to-end recruitment and retention process, partnering closely with Hiring Managers and the People & Development team to attract and appoint outstanding staff.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Manage recruitment from initial vacancy through to appointment and onboarding.
- Develop innovative talent pools and sourcing strategies, particularly across Residential and Community Care.
- Build strong candidate pipelines using job boards, social media, networking, outreach and community referrals.
- Develop compelling job advertisements and attraction campaigns.
- Partner with Hiring Managers to identify and appoint best-fit candidates.
- Conduct screening, behavioural-based interviews and assessment centres where required.
- Coordinate interviews, candidate feedback and offers.
- Support and optimise e-recruitment systems and processes.
- Produce recruitment metrics and reporting and monitor the effectiveness of attraction strategies.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, candidates, job boards, education providers and other recruitment partners.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of recruitment processes and capability across the People & Development team.
About you
You are a high-energy, resilient and customer-focused recruitment professional who enjoys working with people and delivering results with the following key competencies and qualifications:
- Demonstrated volume recruitment experience, ideally within Aged and Community Care.
- Experience managing recruitment in an organisational or dedicated recruitment environment.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment and retention practices.
- Experience with e-recruitment systems.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Expertise in creating effective job advertisements and using job boards.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work to strict deadlines.
- A responsive, candidate-focused approach and a genuine commitment to providing a positive recruitment experience.
- Persistence and initiative to improve recruitment processes and outcomes
- Diploma or undergraduate qualification in HR (Preferred)
