About the Role
You’ll play an important role in supporting women, newborns and their families while gaining valuable experience as part of our maternity teams. As an Assistant in Midwifery with Northern Sydney Local Health District (NSLHD), you’ll work alongside experienced midwives and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to support the delivery of safe, compassionate and woman-centred care.
Please note : NSLHD casual pool staff are expected to work a minimum of one shift a week to maintain their position in the pool.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Please state your current year of enrolment in the Bachelor of Midwifery degree and the university where you are studying.
- Do you have clinical work experience in midwifery and/or clinical placement experience? If yes, please state where you completed this experience.
- Please provide an example that demonstrates your effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Please provide an example that demonstrates your ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Please describe your computer skills, including experience using Microsoft Office programs and electronic filing systems.
