Carey Baptist College is seeking a passionate, highly skilled, and adaptable Christian Primary Physical Education Teacher to join our team commencing in January 2027.This is a part-time, 0.6 FTE position.

With knowledge of contemporary co-curricular practices, the Physical Education teacher will inspire a safe, engaging and challenging atmosphere, whilst promoting the College's vision, policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities

Teaching, assessment and reporting of the Western Australian Physical Education Curriculum for students in Years 1-6.

Developing, managing, evaluating and revising School sporting programs.

Planning and coordinating all facets of intra-school House competitions and events, including Swimming,



Athletics and Cross Country carnivals.

Managing all facets of inter-school competition for Swimming, Athletics and Cross Country.

Planning, organising and managing Swimming Lessons as part of the Physical Education program.

About You
We would love to hear from you if you have:

- Experience in managing Physical Education programs
- Expert knowledge of sporting programs – intra-school and inter-school
- Ability to motivate staff and students to influence the direction of sporting programs
- Ability to operate as a Team leader in a supportive, collaborative and inclusive manner.
