About the Kitchen Steward Supervisor Opportunity

Joondalup Resort is seeking an experienced Kitchen Steward Supervisor to join the Stewarding team. This is a full time position (payment is based on Hospitality Award wages ).

Responsibilities include:

- Ensure kitchens and back of house areas are maintained to the highest cleanliness standards.
- Care for kitchen and service equipment
- Track and minimize breakages, loss of equipment and crockery.
- Review, establish and manage kitchen cleaning schedules.
- Lead a team of kitchen stewards in various sections of the kitchen.
- Manage team rosters.

Position Specifications:





- Extensive stewarding experience including experience in a similar hotel environment
- Working Knowledge and leadership of HACCP
- Hospitality Hygiene Officer Certificate
- Have availability to work a flexible roster including early mornings/ late nights/ weekends and public holidays
- Strong Organisational and Time Management Skills
- Meticulous Attention to Detail
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Chemical Handling Knowledge
