About You

Treasury is seeking a Finance and Assessment Officerto join our Revenue Branch and assist withreceipting taxation and other revenue for the Division.

This is an exciting opportunity to receipt taxation, gaming, and other revenue collectable by the Division and complete related clerical functions. Provide accurate information to taxpayers and grant recipients on a range of matters, both verbally and in writing.

You will have high level of attention to detail and ensure accurate database management.



You will value accuracy and integrity in processing financial and administrative transactions and have experience providing advice to clients, following established processes and preparing written work.

This role suits someone who is an excellent communicator, who understands the diversity of clients interacting with the State Revenue Office and can adapt their communication style accordingly.

The Revenue Branch manages collection of taxation for the State. The branch administers a number of grants, determines taxation objections and ensures that taxpayers are compliant with State taxation and grant legislation.

Hours per fortnight

Up to 73.5 - hours flexible - talk to us about how this could work for you. We are open to considering a range of flexible work options including part time hours.
