About BRAMS

Broome Regional Aboriginal Medical Service (BRAMS) is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service that has been delivering comprehensive, culturally safe primary health care to the Broome community for over 45 years.

About the Role

We are seeking a Wellbeing and Safety Program Manager to lead our Social and Emotional Wellbeing (SEWB) and Family and Domestic Violence (FDV) programs. This role is responsible for managing staff, overseeing complex case management, and coordinating multidisciplinary responses to ensure high-quality, culturally safe and trauma-informed services.

The Program Manager will supervise and support staff, provide leadership in program delivery, facilitate case reviews and debriefings, and contribute to clinical governance and quality improvement across BRAMS.

About you

- Relevant tertiary qualification in social work, psychology, community services, or a related field.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a management or leadership role,



including direct staff supervision.
- Demonstrated experience in program management within wellbeing, family violence, or related areas.
- Strong knowledge of family violence frameworks and trauma-informed, culturally safe practice.
- Experience supporting staff through supervision, mentoring, and workforce development.
- Strong understanding of Aboriginal health, wellbeing, and community contexts.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and collaboration skills.
