Achieve Something Great Campbelltown Hospital is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Clinical Nurse Educator to join our Special Care Nursery team. In this rewarding role, you will lead and support the professional development of nursing staff, fostering excellence in neonatal care through education, mentorship, and evidence-based practice. Working closely with the multidisciplinary team, you will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality care to preterm and unwell infants and their families.

- Provide clinical education, training, and support to nursing staff within the Special Care Nursery
- Promote evidence-based neonatal nursing practice and continuous quality improvement
- Facilitate orientation, competency assessment, and ongoing professional development programs
- Support the delivery of safe, family-centred care for preterm and unwell infants from 32 weeks gestation and above
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to enhance clinical excellence and workforce capability

- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
- Demonstrated experience in neonatal nursing, preferably within a Special Care Nursery / NICU setting
- Experience in clinical education, staff development, mentoring, and competency-based training
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and support learners
- Commitment to evidence-based practice, continuous improvement, and high-quality patient-centred care

- Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a post graduate qualification in a relevant clinical field or education post graduate qualification or a combination of education training and clinical experience deemed appropriate by SWSLHD.
- Please provide an overview of your clinical and educational experience relevant to this position. Include examples of your experience in a Clinical Nurse Educator (or similar) role, your neonatal nursing background, and how you have supported staff development, clinical learning, and excellence in patient care.
