About the role
Barwon Health’s Physiotherapy team are looking for an organised, dynamic and adaptable team player with clinical knowledge, skills and experience in inpatient rehabilitation, and ideally inpatient GEM and/or TCP. You will provide evidence-based, informed, patient-centred physiotherapy care within a multi-disciplinary setting. Rotational Grade 1 Physiotherapists, Physiotherapy Assistants and Undergraduate Students will require your leadership, teaching and supervisory expertise when they work in your area. Your own professional supervision and development will be valued and you will be supported to achieve your goals.
This role has the possibility of being rotational across two areas: Inpatient GEM at McKellar Centre and Trasition Care at Allan David Lodge.
Weekend work (as part of a team roster) will form part of this role.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy care within a multidisciplinary team
- Manage a clinical caseload and contribute to patient outcomes
- Supervise and support Grade 1 staff, assistants and students
- Participate in quality improvement and service development initiatives
What we’re looking for
- AHPRA registered Physiotherapist with significant rehab, GEM and/or TCP experience
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and supervise others
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
