Mater Private Hospital Mackay has exciting opportunities for experienced Registered Nurses to join the Sacred Heart (Medical) Ward. - Our Registered Nurses provide evidence-based and contemporary patient-centred clinical care in collaboration with other multidisciplinary healthcare team members. The delivery of care extends to patient advocacy with particular consideration to patients' physical, emotional and spiritual needs that contribute to optimal clinical outcomes.

- Registered Nurses are responsible for ensuring safe and efficient care management within the scope of practice and professional guidelines. Still, they may not be limited to legislation, regulations, standards, codes, qualifications, registration and clinical competencies., Mater ensures all children have an environment suitable for their safety and wellbeing through proper supervision and safeguarding practices.

Sacred Heart is a busy 31-bed medical ward caring for patients with a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions.

Salary range: $44.06 - $56.52 per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!

About the Candidate

You will enjoy working in a busy and rewarding environment where you can become part of a team of professionals who take pride in providing the highest levels of patient care.

To be successful in this position, you will have the following:

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with no practice restrictions
- Digital and computer proficiency
- Minimum of one-year post-graduate experience
- Effective communication and clinical problem-solving skills to maximise patient care and outcomes
- Knowledge and commitment to continuous improvement of health care and nursing practice
- Demonstrates a cooperative and engaging approach to teamwork and the ability to work within the multi-disciplinary team
