Birali Steiner School is a developing, cutting-edge and vibrant Steiner School, in Beachmere just north of Brisbane on Moreton Bay. The school is accredited P-10 with approximately 150 students and growing.

Birali Steiner School delivers education within the guidelines of the National Curriculum and the Australian Steiner Curriculum Framework.

We are seeking additional Casual Relief Teachers across all grades.

Short listed applicants will be asked to attend a meeting with a member of the Leadership Team and if you do not have Steiner Education experience, would be asked to observe some lessons being delivered to familiarise yourself.

Selection Criteria:

- Demonstrated willingness to work collaboratively and cooperatively with colleagues across the school
- Demonstrated commitment to duty of care and the life of the school
- Demonstrated commitment to the curriculum, the arts, numeracy, literacy and student engagement

Requirements of the role:

- Current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers (QCOT)




- An understanding of the principles of Rudolf Steiner education and anthroposophy and a love for children, an enthusiasm for teaching and realistic expectations of children, self, peers and parents
- Preferably a minimum of 1 year full time classroom teaching experience, preferably in a Steiner School Educational setting
- Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills to ensure delivery of quality education
