About the role
The Principal Policy Adviser, Reform and Implementation will lead the identification, development and implementation of key reform and policy initiatives that will reshape the way emergency care and ambulance services are delivered in the Victorian health system. The initiatives will drive improvements in timely and equitable access to care for all Victorians. The Principal Policy Adviser will engage with internal and external stakeholders who represent a workforce, consumer and Government lens to ensure that meaningful outcomes are delivered.

About you
- Identifies and responds to new and emerging strategic issues impacting on the operating environment.
- Proactively self-starts with a strong understanding of government processes and an ability to oversee work in a sensitive and fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrates relevant experience and expertise in health systems, government processes, stakeholder consultation, policy design, and program implementation.
- Works closely with team members and other partners to coordinate advice on cross-portfolio strategic policy issues and statewide reform matters.
Qualification
A tertiary qualification in fields related to health, public policy, business and/or management, or health administration would be desirable
