About the Role
n
Reporting to the Education & Training Manager, you will be responsible for delivering engaging training and conducting workplace assessments for plumbing apprentices undertaking nationally recognised qualifications.
n
You will work closely with apprentices and employers to ensure learners develop the technical knowledge, practical skills and industry standards required for success in the plumbing trade.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Deliver and assess nationally recognised plumbing qualifications.
n
- Conduct workplace visits and on-site competency assessments.
n
- Provide coaching, mentoring and support to plumbing apprentices.
n
- Monitor apprentice progression and training plan milestones.
n
- Ensure training and assessment activities meet RTO and regulatory requirements.
n
- Maintain accurate records and complete required administration.
n
- Participate in validation, moderation and continuous improvement activities.
n
- Build strong relationships with apprentices, employers and industry stakeholders.
n
- Promote safe work practices and industry best standards.
n

About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
- Extensive experience within the plumbing industry.
n
- Relevant plumbing trade qualifications and vocational competency.
n
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent), or willingness to obtain.
n
- Current knowledge of plumbing regulations, standards and industry practices.
n
- Experience mentoring apprentices or supervising trade staff.
n
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
n
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
n
