Central Gippsland Health (CGH) is proud to offer supported positions in our 2027 Post Graduate Program, designed to help you develop advanced clinical skills while working in a supportive and dynamic regional health environment.
CGH is also a leading teaching hospital, affiliated with Monash University's School of Rural Health and provides placements and clinical experience for students.
About the Program
Our Post Graduate Program offers a unique opportunity for Registered Nurses to specialise while gaining hands‑on experience in a collaborative and supportive clinical setting.
Specialty areas for 2027 include:
- Critical Care Nursing
- Dialysis
- Emergency Nursing
- Midwifery
- Operating Suites
- Medical / Surgical Nursing
- Palliative Care
Successful applicants will join our February 2027 intake and work 0.6–1.0 EFT on the ward while completing their postgraduate studies through Deakin University or Federation University (Midwifery stream only).
Duties
- Acquire hands‑on clinical experience on the ward, working an EFT of 0.6‑1.0, while completing post‑graduate studies through Deakin University or Federation University (for Midwifery students only).
To be eligible you need to:
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 12 months of clinical nursing experience
