The Assistant Project Officer provides essential organisational support to enable the effective delivery of the State’s first offshore wind energy auction. This includes the successful integration of the offshore wind auction contracts into the new national Electricity Services Entry Mechanism (ESEM) (currently under development). The role involves working closely and collaboratively with team members to support the development and implementation of initiatives within the broader offshore wind program.
The role establishes and maintains processes and procedures that enhance the efficiency of auction preparation activities, providing administrative and business support in demanding and sensitive environments.
Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
- A relevant tertiary qualification in a related field (e.g., environmental science, business administration, public policy) is highly regarded.
- Familiarity with government processes and systems is desirable.
This is a fixed term position available until 30 June 2028. The work location for this position is 8 Nicholson Street, East Melbourne with hybrid work arrangements available.
