About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Recruitment Manager to lead and manage a centralised recruitment function across Challenge Community Services.
Reporting to the Executive Director, People and Culture, you will provide strategic and operational leadership to the Recruitment team, ensuring effective recruitment practices that support current and future workforce needs.
This is a key leadership role responsible for building strong stakeholder relationships, driving recruitment strategy, improving systems and processes, and ensuring a positive and efficient candidate and hiring manager experience.
*** This position can be based in either Tamworth or Newcastle with the location determined by the successful candidate.

Duties:
- Lead and implement the organisation's recruitment strategy and centralised recruitment model.
- Lead, mentor and support the Recruitment team, including performance management and professional development.
- Develop and oversee effective recruitment, sourcing and advertising strategies to attract quality candidates.
- Partner with hiring managers to identify current and future workforce requirements.
- Manage recruitment processes, budgets, systems and compliance requirements.
- Research and implement contemporary recruitment practices, tools and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and manage recruitment-focused social media and electronic advertising strategies.
- Provide recruitment training and support to hiring managers and the Recruitment team.
- Support recruitment for senior, specialist and key positions as required.
- Build and maintain external talent partnerships, including with TAFEs, universities and other organisations.
- Monitor and report on recruitment metrics, trends and performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Identify recruitment challenges and develop practical solutions to improve outcomes.
Skills and Experience:
- Certificate IV in Human Resources, Business or a relevant qualification, and/or extensive relevant experience.
- Strong business acumen and demonstrated experience in recruitment.
- Demonstrated success developing and delivering contemporary end-to-end recruitment practices.
- Strong interest and experience in recruitment systems,
processes and continuous improvement.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office products.
- Extensive experience using social media and electronic advertising platforms for recruitment.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Well-developed time management and organisational skills.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, decision-making and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced workplace.
- Experience within the not-for-profit, disability or community services sector.
- Experience using Employment Hero.
