Little Zak's Academy is a privately owned, family-run early childhood organisation providing high-quality education and care in a safe and nurturing environment.

n

We are seeking a Full-Time Cook/Chef to join our Burwood Heights centre and prepare fresh, nutritious meals for children aged 0-5 years.

n

About the Role

n

n
- Full time position, Monday-Friday (approx. 7:00am-3:00pm)
n
- Prepare morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea using a rotating menu
n
- Cater for allergies, dietary requirements, and cultural needs
n
- Maintain strict food safety, hygiene, and storage standards
n
- Manage food ordering within budget and receive deliveries
n
- Work with the Centre Director on menu planning
n
- Engage positively with children and staff throughout the day
n

About You

n

n
- Experience in cooking, hospitality, or commercial kitchen environments (childcare experience desirable)
n
- Knowledge of food safety and allergy management
n




- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate, First Aid, and Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
n
