Gosai Law is seeking a Senior Associate or Special Counsel to lead complex commercial, corporate and regulatory disputes while helping shape the continued growth of our litigation and dispute resolution practice.

The Role

n

This is a senior position for an accomplished litigator who can take ownership of complex matters, provide clear strategic advice and build trusted relationships with clients.

n

You will work across a diverse range of commercial, corporate, regulatory and financial disputes, including matters involving emerging technology, digital assets and complex cross-border issues.

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

- Leading and managing complex commercial litigation, regulatory disputes and financial services matters
n
- Developing litigation strategies that align with each client's legal and commercial objectives
n
- Representing clients in court proceedings, class actions, regulatory investigations and enforcement matters
n
- Advising financial institutions, technology companies, founders and corporate clients on contentious regulatory and compliance issues
n
- Managing matters from initial advice and pre-litigation strategy through to settlement, trial and enforcement
n
- Drafting and reviewing pleadings, evidence, submissions, correspondence and settlement documentation
n
- Briefing and working closely with counsel, experts,



accountants and other external advisers
n
- Maintaining strong client relationships and delivering responsive, commercially focused advice
n
- Supervising, mentoring and developing junior lawyers
n
- Contributing to the continued growth and development of the firm's litigation practice
n

About You

n

You are a commercially minded and technically strong litigator who is comfortable taking responsibility for significant matters and guiding clients through complex, high-pressure situations.

n

You will ideally have:

n

n
- Significant post-admission experience in commercial litigation and dispute resolution at Senior Associate or Special Counsel level
n
- Robust experience managing complex litigation matters with a high degree of independence
n
- Experience in commercial, corporate, regulatory or financial services disputes
n
- Excellent written advocacy, drafting, negotiation and strategic problem-solving skills
n
- Strong client management skills and the ability to communicate complex legal issues clearly
n
- Experience supervising and mentoring junior lawyers
n
- Experience with class actions, regulatory investigations, enforcement proceedings, cross-border disputes or digital asset matters will be highly regarded.
n
- An established network or client following would be advantageous, but we are equally interested in candidates with the ambition and ability to build one with the support of the firm

As a senior member of the firm, you will also contribute to the growth of our litigation and dispute resolution practice by:

- Developing and maintaining relationships with clients, referrers and industry contacts
n
- Identifying new opportunities and helping build a strong pipeline of litigation work
n
- Representing Gosai Law at industry events, conferences and professional functions
n
- Contributing practical legal insights through articles, media commentary, presentations and social content
n
- Supporting the firm's broader business development and thought leadership initiatives
n
