We're looking for an Intermediate Accountant (with approximately 2 years' experience) to join our growing team. You'll get hands‐on exposure to real clients from day one, structured mentoring from experienced accountants, and a clear runway to build your technical skills and your career — not just tick boxes.

What you'll be doing

n

You'll work alongside experienced accountants to support our clients with their taxation and compliance obligations, while building the technical foundation for a long and successful career in public practice.

Your day-to-day will include (but isn't limited to):

- Assisting with the preparation of Financial Statements and Tax Returns for Companies, Trusts and Partnerships
n
- Preparing Income Tax Returns for Individuals, including Sole Traders and family business groups
n
- Learning the ropes of tax planning strategies alongside senior team members
n
- Working closely with colleagues to make sure everything complies with current tax legislation and regulations
n
- Getting involved in ad hoc advisory work — think cash flow forecasting, budgeting and business performance insights
n
- Building your client-facing skills and starting to develop your own professional relationships

About you

n

- A completed degree in Accounting, Commerce or a related field
n
- 2 years' experience in a public practice accounting firm
n
- Genuinely curious about tax, business and how companies operate — you ask "why", not just "how"
n
- Comfortable working independently but you also love being part of a team that has your back
n
- Confident communicator, keen to build real relationships with clients and colleagues alike
n
- A proactive, can‐do attitude — you look for ways to add value rather than waiting to be told
n
- Strong research skills and the drive to dig into technical problems until you understand them
n
- Ambitious and career‐minded, with your sights set on where this role can take you
n
