Allcott Hire, a leading equipment hire company, is seeking a motivated and reliable Yardperson to join our team in Seven Hills, NSW. As a Yardperson, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our yard, focusing on the productive storage, maintenance and distribution of our diverse range of equipment. This full-time position is an integral part of our business, contributing to the overall success of our operations.
What you'll be doing
- Receiving, storing and maintaining a wide variety of equipment in the yard
- Preparing and loading equipment for customer deliveries and collections
- Conducting regular inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment
- Assisting with the organisation and cleanliness of the yard
- Providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients
- Adhering to all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures
What we're looking for
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must have a forklift licence and experience operating a forklift would be highly advantageous
