About the work unit / facility
The Townsville University Hospital Emergency Department provides care to approximately 90,000 patients each year and operates 24 hours a day. Clinical Information Administrative Services provides responsive administrative support to the Emergency Department, supporting patients, clinical staff and effective day-to-day service delivery.

Competitive salary and benefits
Generous remuneration package value up to $65,432 p.a. comprising:
- Salary range: $41.17 to $45.79 p.h. (AO3)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- District - Northern Division - East allowance
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
About your opportunity
Join the Clinical Information Administrative Services as an Administration Officer and provide responsive administrative support within the busy Emergency Department at Townsville University Hospital. You'll welcome and assist patients and visitors, maintain accurate patient information, respond to enquiries and work closely with clinical and administrative teams to support patient flow and effective day-to-day operations.
Requirements
- Participation in continuous shift work, including day, afternoon and night shifts, weekends and public holidays
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
- Probation period may apply.
