About the Role

MCA Engineering is seeking an experienced Underground & Surface Construction Supervisors to lead underground construction, mechanical and civil works across ongoing mining projects in Mt Isa. You will be responsible for supervising crews, coordinating daily site activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely and efficiently, and maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong planning, communication and problem-solving skills while working closely with clients,



project teams and site personnel.

About You

- Minimum 5 years' experience supervising underground construction projects
- Proven experience leading construction, mechanical and/or civil crews in underground mining environments
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Ability to coordinate labour, equipment and subcontractors to meet project schedules
- Excellent understanding of underground mining safety standards and procedures
- Current unrestricted driver's licence
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and project documentation
- Mining experience is essential
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol testing
- Supervisor qualifications (G1, G8 or G9 or equivalent) are preferred
