The Opportunity

ROUSSOS Recruitment is partnering with a highly regarded national commercial builder to appoint an experienced Senior Site Manager for a significant $50M project in Adelaide.

n

With a long-standing presence in the South Australian market, this contractor has established a strong reputation for delivering complex projects across commercial, education, health, defence and institutional sectors.

This is an prospect to take ownership of a substantial project while joining a builder with the systems, resources and experienced leadership team required to deliver at this level.

Importantly, the opportunity extends beyond one project. With a solid forward pipeline across South Australia, the business can offer stability and continued exposure to major commercial construction following completion.

The Role

n

As Senior Site Manager, you will take overall responsibility for site delivery, leading the project team and subcontractors to achieve programme, safety and quality outcomes.

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

- Leading day-to-day site delivery of a $50M commercial project
n




- Managing and coordinating site teams, subcontractors and suppliers
n
- Driving construction programmes and maintaining key project milestones
n
- Managing construction sequencing, site logistics and short-term programming
n
- Maintaining high standards across WHS, quality and compliance
n
- Leading site meetings and subcontractor coordination
n
- Managing consultant, client and stakeholder relationships at site level
n
- Driving the project through construction, commissioning and successful handover
n

We are looking for an established Senior Site Manager with the experience and leadership capability to take ownership of a major commercial build.

n

You will ideally bring:

n

n
- Extensive Site Management experience within Tier 1 or Tier 2 commercial construction
n
- Experience leading large site teams and complex subcontractor packages
n
- Strong knowledge of structures, services, finishes and construction sequencing
n
- Strong programming and site coordination capability
n
- A trade background, ideally in carpentry, will be highly regarded
n
- Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
n
- A proactive approach to safety, quality and problem-solving
n

n

You will be someone who can take control of a project, lead people effectively and maintain momentum on site, while working collaboratively with the wider project team.
