Remuneration: $40.05 - $61.76 (Dependent on Qualifications) Per Hour + 12% Super + Salary Packaging

About the Role:

As an Intake Clinician, you’ll play a pivotal role in connecting consumers with the right mental health support at the right time. Using your clinical expertise, sound judgement and strong assessment skills, you’ll coordinate referrals into, within and from the service, ensuring each consumer is guided towards the most appropriate care pathway for their individual needs.

Working with a high degree of autonomy, you’ll provide clinical leadership throughout the intake process, facilitating timely access to specialist mental health services and connecting consumers with supports aligned to their individual recovery goals.

From day one, you’ll be supported with a comprehensive orientation led by the Team Leader, followed by ongoing guidance from the ACT/Intake Team Leader, Clinical Coordinators and Service Manager. Your professional growth will be encouraged through regular clinical supervision, engaging in-service education, and access to a range of virtual and face-to-face professional development opportunities.

You’ll work alongside senior leaders, including the HVLMNC Mental Health Service Manager, and collaborate closely with the broader mental health team to deliver contemporary, high-quality, person-centred care. You’ll also have opportunities to participate in planned in-services and role-specific training to continually strengthen your clinical expertise.

Fleet vehicles are available for clinical use, supporting you to provide accessible care across the community.
