The Finance Officer is responsible for the accurate, timely and efficient administration of Council’s procure-to-pay (creditors), procurement, contract management and revenue functions, including the maintenance of financial records, systems support, transaction processing, reporting, reconciliations and compliance activities. The position supports the effective delivery of Council’s financial operations through the administration of creditor and revenue transactions, rates-related processes, and associated month-end activities, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements, Council policies and established procedures.The role provides a high level of customer service and support to internal and external stakeholders, including responding to enquiries, providing system training and guidance, and promoting compliance with relevant financial and procurement frameworks.
