Remuneration: $153,559.00 - $ 182,954.00 per annum, plus 12% superannuation

About the Prospect

The Senior Program Manager Rural Research Education is responsible for managing the development, implementation,



monitoring, evaluation and reporting of the Rural Research Capacity Building Program within HETI's Rural & Remote Portfolio. The role ensures program delivery aligns with the HETI Strategic Plan and Rural & Remote Portfolio Strategic and Operational Plans, meeting required deadlines, quality standards and budget expectations. This role leads the planning and delivery of an annual program of rural research education for NSW Health staff across rural and remote NSW. The successful candidate will coordinate educators and resources, oversee program implementation, monitor outcomes and milestones, and drive continuous improvement through ongoing quality and program evaluation activities. Working collaboratively with a broad range of stakeholders, the Senior Program Manager will provide expert leadership to strengthen rural research capability and support the development of a skilled, research-active rural health workforce across NSW.

Selection Criteria

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Health or Education related to research or equivalent, and
demonstrated relevant skilled experience.
- Demonstrated experience in teaching contemporary research methods including design, development,




delivery and evaluation of complex and high level research training programs.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage programs of research and evaluation and actively contribute to
academic publications.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and manage highly skilled networks and partnerships across public,
private and not-for-profit sector characterised by the delivery of high quality and complex projects and
programs on time and within budget.
