Remuneration: $41,22 - $57.88 per hour+ 12% Superannuation + Salary Packaging

Join our dedicated team as a Kidney Transplant Nurse and play a vital role in delivering specialised, patient-centred care to individuals undergoing life-changing transplant treatment.

- Support individuals through every stage of their kidney transplant experience, from preparation to recovery, making a profound difference in their lives.
- Build expertise in renal and transplant nursing within Liverpool Hospital's renowned Renal Unit, supported by experienced clinicians and structured development pathways.
- Work closely with nephrologists, surgeons, allied health, and fellow nurses to deliver coordinated, patient-centred care that drives exceptional outcomes.
- Play an active role in shaping an expanding transplant program that continues to evolve to meet community needs across NSW.
- Use your compassion, clinical skill, and commitment to help patients regain independence and quality of life after life-changing treatment.

You will bring various qualities to excel in this position to include:

- Provide accurate assessment, medication management,



and early recognition of complications for complex transplant patients.
- Build trust through active listening, clear communication, and strong partnerships with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team.
- Support patients through the emotional and physical challenges of the transplant journey with empathy and professionalism.
- Contribute to a positive, safety-focused team culture while confidently managing priorities in a agile clinical environment.
- Bring renal, dialysis, or acute care experience or a willingness to learn to a developing transplant service committed to education, evidence-based practice, and high-quality patient outcomes.

Selection Criteria

- Do you have current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)? Please attach a copy of your AHPRA registration in your application
- Describe your experience in managing complex patients and how you ensure protected, patient-centred care, particularly in recognising and responding to deterioration?

Tell us about a time you worked collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support a patient with complex needs. How did you communicate and what was the outcome?
