Maintenance Fitter
n Young, NSW $46-$57/hr + Overtime + Penalty Rates
n We're seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join a busy manufacturing operation in Young, NSW. This role offers exposure to a wide range of plant equipment, a supportive team environment and the opportunity to work within a well-established business committed to safety, reliability and continuous improvement.

The Role Reporting to the Maintenance Team Leader, you will be responsible for carrying out preventative and breakdown maintenance to ensure plant uptime and operational efficiency.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Preventative and reactive maintenance across plant equipment
n
- Fault finding and troubleshooting mechanical issues
n
- Maintenance of conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, hydraulics and pneumatics
n
- Supporting shutdown and project work
n
- Maintaining maintenance records and work orders
n
- Working safely within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
n

Roster Rotating 5-day roster across the following shifts:

n

AM Shift

n

n
- 3:20am – 12:00pm
n

n

PM Shift

n

n
- 3:30pm – 12:00am
n

n





Day Shift

n

n
- 7:30am – 4:30pm
n

n

Additional Information

n

n
- Monday to Friday roster
n
- Weekend shift approximately every 5 weeks
n
- Penalty rates apply
n

n

About You To be successful, you will ideally have:

n

n
- Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter
n
- Experience within food manufacturing, FMCG, meat processing or heavy industry
n
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
n
- Experience with conveyors, hydraulics, pumps and gearboxes
n
- A proactive approach to maintenance and reliability
n
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
n
