Reine & La Rue is a two-hat modern French restaurant located within Melbourne's original Stock Exchange building on the corner of Queen and Collins Streets. Since opening in 2023, the venue has become one of the city's most celebrated dining destinations.

Set beneath soaring vaulted ceilings and Gothic Revival architecture, Reine pairs refined French cooking with exceptional Victorian produce, while La Rue offers an intimate wine and cocktail experience centred around one of Australia's most distinctive wine collections. Together, they create a dining experience defined by generosity, excellence and a robust sense of place.

The Opportunity
We’re currently looking for experienced and passionate Hosts & Sections Waiters to join the team at Reine & La Rue.

This is an opportunity to work in one of Melbourne’s most celebrated dining rooms, delivering thoughtful, memorable service in a fast-paced environment. With busy lunch and dinner services running seven days a week, the role offers the opportunity to work up to full-time hours.

We’re looking for hospitality professionals who are confident on the floor, attentive to detail, and genuinely enjoy creating exceptional guest experiences. In return, we offer ongoing training and development to help you continue building your career in hospitality.

Our ideal candidate will have

2+ years experience in a similar role in premium,



hatted or michelin starred restaurants

A genuine passion for hospitality, eager to create an unforgettable dining experience

Exceptional communication skills and a commitment to excellence

The ability to confidently manage a busy section and maintain efficiency during peak service times

Excellent attention to detail and a consistency in execution

A current Victorian Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate (RSA)

Availability to work a rotating roster, including evenings and weekends, looking to work up to full-time hours
