We are looking for an energetic and hands-on Assistant Restaurant & Bar Manager to support the day to day operations of Boulevard Brasserie & Bar at Novotel and ibis Sydney Olympic Park. In this role, you will work closely with the Restaurant & Bar Manager to lead a high-performing Food & Beverage team, ensuring outstanding service, a welcoming dining atmosphere, and memorable guest experiences. You will be responsible for coordinating restaurant operations, developing and inspiring team members, driving revenue opportunities, maintaining high standards of food safety and compliance, and ensuring smooth collaboration across departments including Kitchen, Front Office, Sales & Marketing, and Conference & Events. What You’ll Be Doing:





- Support the daily operation of the Restaurant & Bar, ensuring exceptional service standards and guest satisfaction.
- Lead, coach, and inspire the Food & Beverage team to deliver memorable dining experiences.
- Maintain a strong focus on menu knowledge, dietary requirements, allergens, and beverage recommendations.
- Drive sales and revenue through upselling, promotions, and exceptional guest engagement.
- Manage stock ordering, inventory control, stocktakes, and equipment maintenance.
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, training, performance development, and team engagement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with RSA requirements, food safety standards, WHS regulations, and hotel policies.
- Build strong relationships with guests, including VIPs and regular loyalty members, while handling enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
- Support the successful delivery of conferences, functions, and special events in collaboration with internal departments.
