Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site General Practitioner role based in Perth, WA. The General Practitioner will provide comprehensive clinical care, including diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions, conducting routine health assessments, and offering preventive health advice. Day-to-day responsibilities include consulting with patients of all ages, prescribing medications, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and maintaining accurate clinical records. The role involves collaborating with nurses and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care,



support practice protocols, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives. The General Practitioner will also participate in patient education and may provide supervision or mentoring to clinical staff and trainees as appropriate.

Qualifications

Specialist GP/Vocational registered GP/FRACGP or equivalent

- Clinical expertise in Medicine and Primary Care, with the ability to manage a broad range of presentations across the lifespan.
- Experience or training in Family Medicine, including preventive care, chronic disease management, and holistic patient care.
- Ability to work collaboratively with Nursing staff and other health professionals to deliver coordinated, team-based care.
- Commitment to ongoing Training and professional development, including maintaining relevant registrations and certifications.
- Medical degree and current registration (or eligibility for registration) with the appropriate medical board or authority.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered, culturally sensitive approach.
- Experience in general practice or primary care settings, preferably in community or family-focused clinics.
- Ability to use clinical software and electronic medical records efficiently and accurately.
- AHPRA registered or eligible for AHPRA registration
