About the role: This position is based at our 99-bed facility in Busselton, where you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality, person-centred care to residents. You will play a key role in supporting residents’ physical and emotional wellbeing, helping them achieve their personal goals and engage in meaningful daily activities.
Your responsibilities will include promoting independence, collaborating with staff and nursing teams, and assisting with daily tasks such as personal care, mobility, meals, household duties, and leisure activities. You will follow care plans to provide safe, person-centred support, maintain a clean and safe workplace, encourage social connection and wellbeing, and adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Care partner shift times:
- 6:00am – 2:00pm
- 7:00am – 1:30pm
- 3:00pm – 9:00pm
- 3:00pm – 10:00pm

About you:
You bring a genuine commitment to supporting older people with dignity and respect.
You enjoy working in a team and building meaningful relationships with residents, families and colleagues.
You will have:
- Certificate III in Aged Care (or similar), or currently working towards it; or undertaking undergraduate Registered Nurse studies
- Understanding of BaptistCare’s Christian identity and values
- A person‑centred approach to care
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to build rapport with people from diverse backgrounds, including CALD communities
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
- Confidence managing a busy workload and adapting to changing priorities
- Commitment to customer‑focused care
- Basic to intermediate IT skills across a range of applications
