Role Description The Allocations Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Melbournes CBD, VIC, responsible for coordinating and scheduling support services for participants. This role involves matching support workers to participant needs, managing rosters, ensuring our standard of documentation and compliance is upheld at all times along with their care plans and ensuring service coverage aligns with individual plans and preferences.

The Allocations

Coordinator will liaise with support workers, families, and internal teams to confirm bookings, handle changes, and address allocation issues in a timely manner. Day-to-day tasks include maintaining accurate records in scheduling systems, organising weekly, fortnightly and monthly reports,



monitoring participant requirements, speaking/supporting support workers on the ground wirh managerial support and escalating any service gaps or risks. The role also supports continuous improvement by providing feedback on service delivery patterns and helping to ensure consistency, reliability, and quality of support.

Qualifications

- Experience in scheduling, rostering, or allocations within disability, community, or health services, with strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with participants, families, carers, and team members.
- Proficiency with computer systems and scheduling or CRM software, including accurate data entry and basic reporting skills.
- Problem-solving skills, including the ability to respond to changes, manage competing priorities, and resolve allocation issues calmly and professionally.
- Knowledge of the NDIS framework, person-centered practice, and disability support services, or a willingness to learn quickly.
- Ability to work effectively in an on-site team workplace in Melbourne, VIC, demonstrating reliability, professionalism, and respect for diversity.
- Relevant qualification or training in disability support, community services, administration, or a related field is highly regarded.
- Current working rights in Australia and any required checks (such as NDIS Worker Screening, Working With Children Check, or Police Check) or the ability to obtain them.
