Job Brief

We are seeking skilled Industrial Insulators for an urgent contract based in Girrawheen, QLD. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing complex thermal and acoustic insulation and cladding systems. Position Details

- ? Location: Girrawheen, QLD

- ? Pay Rate: $65.00 per hour superannuation

- ✈️ Travel & Perks: Camp accommodation, all meals, and all transport from major cities provided

- ? Vacancies: 4 positions available

- ? Start Date: Monday, 14 September 2026 (Urgent Start)

- ⏱️ Contract Duration: Until January 2027

- ? Roster Pattern: 3 weeks on / 1 week off framework

- ? Visa Sponsorship: Available (Qualified offshore applicants will be considered based on technical skillset, trade history, and English communication proficiency)

Key Responsibilities

- System Installation: Install, maintain, and repair comprehensive thermal and acoustic insulation and protective cladding systems in accordance with engineering layouts.

- Material Processing: Measure, cut, shape,



and fit diverse insulation materials precisely around industrial pipes, heavy equipment, valves, ducting, and structures.

- Surface Preparation: Inspect and prepare asset surfaces and equipment thoroughly prior to insulation application.

- Blueprint Interpretation: Read, interpret, and accurately execute technical drawings, plans, and project isolation specifications.

- Quality & Safety Control: Inspect completed insulation work to ensure strict quality standards are achieved, work safely at heights, and strictly adhere to SWMS and site WHS protocols.

- Workshop Hygiene: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while working productively to meet tight client handover deadlines.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Proven hands-on experience working as an Industrial Insulator or Lagger within heavy industrial, mining, processing, or manufacturing environments.

- Proficiency in utilizing insulation hand tools, power tools, and specialized measuring equipment safely.

- Ability to work effectively at heights and navigate complex industrial site layouts.

- Solid, uncompromised commitment to workplace health and safety.

- For Offshore Applicants: Must possess an elite technical skillset, verifiable trade references, and high-level English communication skills.
