About the role

Commodore Motel Mildura is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accommodation Housekeeper to join our housekeeping team on a casual basis. Based in Mildura, Victoria, this role is essential to maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and comfort that our guests expect during their stay. As an Accommodation Housekeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring all guest rooms and common areas are maintained to the highest standards, contributing directly to guest satisfaction and the overall reputation of our motel.

What you'll be doing

- Cleaning and tidying guest rooms, including changing bed linens, replacing towels, and removing rubbish
- Dusting, vacuuming, and mopping all guest room areas and common spaces
- Sanitising bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and bathtubs
- Restocking guest rooms with amenities such as toiletries, tea, coffee, and other supplies
- Inspecting rooms for maintenance issues and reporting them promptly to management
- Handling guest requests for additional items or services in a timely and professional manner
- Following health and safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Maintaining organised storage of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Working efficiently to meet daily room cleaning quotas and deadlines

What we're looking for

- Previous experience in housekeeping, hotel maintenance, or a similar hospitality cleaning role
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Physical capability to perform repetitive tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to work flexibly according to casual shift requirements




- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with guests and team members
- Ability to work independently whilst maintaining positive team collaboration
- Knowledge of safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Willingness to follow standard operating procedures and motel policies
- Valid driving licence is desirable for travel to the Mildura location
