About the Role
Bega Garnbirringu Health Service is seeking a dedicated and community-focused Aboriginal Health Practitioner to join our Mobile Clinic team. Working as part of a small and supportive multidisciplinary team, the Aboriginal Health Practitioner will play an significant role in improving health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people through the delivery of comprehensive, culturally appropriate and holistic primary health care.
The position will provide a range of clinical services, including health assessments, examinations, treatment, case management, health education and follow-up care.
The successful applicant will support continuity of care and contribute to culturally informed models of service delivery across Aboriginal communities in the Goldfields region.
This role involves regular outreach travel to communities across the Northern and Southern Goldfields regions, generally for periods of 3–4 days at a time and up to four nights.
