The Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role will involve managing a range of accounting tasks, providing critical insights, and ensuring the accuracy of financial data to support informed strategic decision-making.

We have a small team that works with business managers in our various companies. As we continue to grow, we're seeking a talented and detail-oriented Business Accountant to join our team and contribute to the financial health and performance of our organisation.

Key Responsibilities

- Accounts Payable and Payroll
- Assisting with monthly management reports and financial statements
- Reconcile accounts and maintain the general ledger
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Maintain Asset Registers
- Ensure compliance with statutory obligations (BAS, GST, FBT, payroll tax, etc.)
- Provide support and advice to other departments regarding financial procedures.
- Identify areas for process improvement and cost efficiency.

What We're Looking For

- Degree-qualified in Accounting,



Finance or working towards
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a similar accounting role
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and reporting requirements
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Proficiency with accounting software, MYOB and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
