About the Role

Intensive Care at Home (ICAH) is seeking a proactive, accountable and results-focused Aged Receivables Officer to take ownership of aged debt and drive timely cash collection.

You will manage outstanding accounts, identify and resolve payment issues, and work closely with the Finance and wider teams to ensure accounts are actively progressed.

This is a 12-month time-limited contract with a genuine view to permanency, subject to performance, business requirements and mutual suitability.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the aged receivables ledger, with a focus on 60+ and 90+ day accounts.
- Follow up outstanding invoices and drive timely payment.
- Take ownership of debtor accounts, actions and follow-up dates.
- Liaise with clients, NDIS, TAC, DVA and other funding bodies.
- Identify and resolve invoicing, claims, coding, documentation and funding issues.
- Investigate payment delays, plan reviews, funding issues and pricing disputes.
- Identify bad debt risks and minimise avoidable write-offs.
- Maintain accurate collection records and reporting.
- Work collaboratively with Finance, Clinical, Administration and Rostering teams.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of receivables and financial processes.

Key Selection Criteria

- Proven experience in accounts receivable, invoicing or financial administration, ideally within the NDIS, aged care, healthcare or community services sectors.




- Familiarity with NDIS platforms such as PRODA and the myplace portal (desirable).
- Knowledge of NDIS, TAC and DVA funding models and billing cycles (advantageous).
- Experience with financial systems such as Xero and service platforms such as Deputy, or similar.
- Excellent attention to detail, organisation and follow-through.
- Solid written and verbal communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
- Proactive, accountable and results-focused approach, with the ability to take ownership and drive matters through to resolution.

Licences & Checks

- Current Police Check.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain.
- Working with Children Check, if applicable.
