St Patrick’s Community Support Centre (St Pat’s) is an award-winning not-for-profit homelessness service and community housing provider. For more than 50 years, we have worked alongside people experiencing homelessness and disadvantage across Perth’s south metropolitan region.
Our mission is simple: to lead bold action to end homelessness.
We are looking for an organised, proactive and people focused Administration Assistant to join our Corporate Services team in Fremantle.
This is a part time position, working 22.5 hours per week with flexible days and working hours.
About the role
Working within Corporate Services and reporting to the People & Culture Lead, you will provide broad administrative support across the organisation, with a particular focus on People & Culture, recruitment and onboarding.
Your days will be varied and may include:
- Providing general administration and reception/front of house support
- Supporting recruitment, including advertising, interview coordination and candidate communication
- Assisting with new starter onboarding and employment documentation
- Maintaining accurate employee, recruitment, training and compliance records
- Supporting HRIS, SharePoint and other organisational systems
- Preparing documents, spreadsheets, correspondence and reports
- Coordinating meetings, training sessions, inductions and staff events
- Monitoring shared inboxes and responding to routine enquiries
- Supporting Corporate Services projects and continuous improvement initiatives
- Providing administrative support across the organisation as required
About you
You will be someone who is organised,
reliable and enjoys making sure things are done accurately and on time. You will be comfortable juggling competing priorities, working independently and supporting a busy team.
You will bring
- Previous experience in administration, coordination or a similar support role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and a professional, welcoming approach
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Confidence using Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and SharePoint
- The ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
- A collaborative approach and the ability to build positive working relationships with people across an organisation
Experience in People & Culture, recruitment, payroll or corporate administration will be highly regarded but is not essential.
