About Us The Salvation Army is a Christian movement and one of Australia's largest and most-loved charities. We believe in doing good that transforms lives and futures for the better. It is this belief which drives us to find new ways and places where we can make a difference. From times of personal crisis to moments of national grief, we are always here — providing support, safety, community, and opportunity.
Administration Coordinator – Drive for Life
Youth Services | Kalgoorlie SCHADS Level 4 | Full‑time
Why this role matters For many young people, getting a driver’s licence is something they take for granted. For others, it is the difference between securing a job, attending education, connecting with family, accessing support services or simply believing in their future.
The Drive for Life Program supports young people aged 16–25 who may have experienced hardship, instability or barriers that make this milestone feel out of reach. Every learner driver who joins our program has a story. Some have faced homelessness, family breakdown, financial pressure or social isolation. Achieving their licence can be a turning point that opens doors to independence, confidence and opportunity.
As the Administration Coordinator, you will be the organisational heart of the Drive for Life Program. Through structured coordination, clear communication and strong administration, you will help create the environment where young people feel supported, instructors and volunteers feel confident and the program runs smoothly. This is more than an administrative role. It is a chance to help young people change the direction of their lives.
About The Role
You will coordinate the day-to-day delivery of the Drive for Life Program, managing referrals, scheduling lessons with driving instructors and volunteers, building program resources, maintaining accurate records and ensuring reporting requirements are met. You will build solid relationships with participants, volunteers, schools, community partners and support services,
promoting the program and contributing to its growth.
This role suits someone who loves organisation, communication and creating meaningful impact through structured program coordination. You will not be required to provide driving instruction. Instead, you will ensure the program is delivered safely, consistently and with care.
