- $75,000 per annum full-time equivalent, pro rata ($22,500 at 0.3 FTE) plus superannuation

- Occasional travel may be required for WISA member events, programs and team meetings
About Women in Seafood Australasia (WISA) Women in Seafood Australasia (WISA) is a not-for-profit, member-based organisation that supports, connects and champions women across the seafood industry in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.
Our purpose is to champion an inclusive industry with diverse voices for a thriving seafood sector. We empower, connect and respond to the needs of seafood women so they can reach their full potential.
We are seeking an Administration and Communications Coordinator to provide friendly member service and practical support across communications, events, programs and organisational administration.
Working directly with the Membership Operations Manager, you will help make membership welcoming and easy to engage with, from joining and onboarding through to participation and renewal.
About the Role
This hands-on role suits someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative and follows tasks through. Key focus areas include:
- Responding to routine member enquiries, processing memberships and keeping records up to date
- Preparing newsletters, scheduling approved content and updating WISA Connect and the website
- Supporting programs and events through registrations, participant communications, travel bookings and follow-up
- Assisting with Board papers, meetings, minutes, shared inboxes and everyday administration
- Providing practical support for membership improvements and agreed WISA projects
You will bring strong organisation and attention to detail, explicit written communication and a friendly, professional approach. Experience in administration, membership services, communications, events or a similar role is essential, along with confidence using digital tools such as Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, Canva and membership or email platforms. Seafood industry experience is valued but not essential. Why work with WISA?
