Provide exceptional frontline and administrative support across Community and Oral Health services, delivering outstanding customer service, coordinating records and information systems, and helping ensure seamless care for patients, visitors and multidisciplinary teams.
About the role
As the Administration Officer – Extended Care, you will provide professional, confidential, and high-quality administrative support across Clinical Operations within Community and Oral Health Services. Working across multiple locations, you will play an important role in supporting patients, visitors, clinicians, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure the smooth delivery of health services.
You will deliver frontline customer service, maintain accurate records and databases, utilise a range of health information systems, and contribute to efficient administrative processes. This role requires flexibility, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a rotational workforce workplace.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Provide high-level administrative and frontline support to patients, visitors, and staff while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
- Deliver excellent customer service through face-to-face and telephone interactions, responding to enquiries and providing accurate information.
- Utilise a range of health and corporate information systems to support administrative operations and patient services.
- Manage records, databases, mail, and document tracking systems in accordance with legislative and organisational requirements.
- Work effectively within multidisciplinary teams while adapting to changing priorities and supporting services across multiple locations.
