We are seeking a practical and solutions focused Assistant Maintenance Coordinator to support the maintenance and reliability of our marine support craft fleet. Reporting to the Maintenance Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring our vessels remain safe, compliant and ready to operate through effective maintenance planning, fault finding, contractor management and technical support.

You will:

- Assist in planning, coordinating and delivering planned and corrective maintenance across the support craft fleet.
- Troubleshoot vessel defects and provide technical advice to vessel crews, workshop personnel and contractors.
- Coordinate maintenance activities, repairs and refits to minimise operational disruption.
- Monitor and manage work orders within the CMMS, ensuring accurate records and timely completion of maintenance activities.
- Analyse vessel reliability trends and contribute to asset improvement and lifecycle planning initiatives.

Technically capable, hands-on and great at solving problems: here's who we're looking for.

- Trade qualification in a mechanical discipline such as Fitter & Turner, Diesel Fitter, Marine Engineer or similar.
- Demonstrated experience maintaining, repairing or coordinating maintenance for marine,



industrial, heavy equipment or fleet assets.
- Finely tuned fault finding, troubleshooting and practical problem solving skills.
- Ability to prioritise competing maintenance requirements while maintaining safety, compliance and operational performance.
- Experienced or ability to learn maintenance management systems (CMMS) and procurement processes.
- Ability to communicate effectively with vessel crews, contractors and internal teams.
- Experience with welding, fabrication, blasting and painting activities will be advantageous.
