As we continue to expand across Australia and New Zealand, we're looking for a passionate and people-focused Assistant Store Manager to join our growing retail team.
This is an exciting chance for an experienced retail leader who enjoys coaching large teams, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and driving strong commercial outcomes in a fast-paced environment. Based in our Sydney Flagship Store, you'll support the leadership of a large-format, two-level retail environment and a team of approximately 25-30 employees, playing a key role in developing a high-performing team and driving commercial success.

What You'll Do Lead & Develop the Team
- Coach, motivate and develop a large and diverse retail team
- Support recruitment, onboarding and training activities
- Provide ongoing feedback, coaching and performance support
- Assist with formal performance management conversations when required
- Help build a positive, accountable and high-performing team culture
- Identify and develop future leaders within the store team
Drive Commercial Results
- Support achievement of sales targets and KPIs
- Analyse store performance and identify opportunities for improvement
- Create a customer-focused and sales-driven environment
- Utilise reporting tools, including Excel and Google Sheets, to support operational and commercial decision-making
- Support labour productivity through effective roster planning and workforce management
Support Store Operations
- Assist with roster planning and workforce management aligned to labour budgets
- Maintain inventory accuracy and store presentation standards
- Ensure policies, procedures and compliance requirements are met
- Support product launches, promotional events and peak trading periods
- Help coordinate operations across a large-format, multi-level retail environment
Who You Are
- An experienced Assistant Store Manager, Retail Manager,
Supervisor or 2IC with experience leading medium to large teams
- Passionate about customer experience and team development
- Confident coaching, training and leading others
- Experienced managing team performance and providing constructive feedback
- Commercially aware and KPI focused
- Comfortable using Excel and Google Sheets for reporting and workforce planning
- Organised, adaptable and solutions focused
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-volume retail environments
- Ready to lead larger teams and support the success of a flagship retail location
Availability Requirements
- Flexible availability across all 7 days is required
- Typical rosters include weekends, late-night trading and public holidays
- We aim to provide structured rosters with two consecutive days off in a standard week, supporting work-life balance and roster consistency
- While rosters are planned in advance, flexibility to support business needs, peak trading periods and major product launches is expected
- Availability throughout peak trading periods, including November to January, is essential
