Join the Team

As the Associate Director, Statewide Engagement & Sourcing, you will lead procurement engagement and statewide sourcing initiatives that support NSW Health's digital transformation agenda. Working across Local Health Districts, specialty networks and pillar organisations, you'll partner with senior stakeholders to identify ICT procurement priorities, drive the adoption of statewide procurement arrangements, and deliver strategic sourcing outcomes that improve value, consistency and benefits realisation across the health system.

In this role, you will:

- Lead statewide ICT sourcing programs and major procurement initiatives, from procurement planning and market engagement through to tendering, negotiation and contract establishment.
- Partner with senior leaders across NSW Health to understand procurement needs, build strong relationships and align sourcing strategies with statewide priorities.




- Provide expert advice on procurement strategy, governance, probity and risk management for complex, high-value ICT procurements.
- Drive the adoption of statewide ICT contracts and sourcing arrangements, delivering measurable benefits, savings and improved procurement outcomes across the health system.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team while fostering a collaborative, customer-focused culture that supports continuous improvement and innovation.

About You

You'll thrive in this role if you're a strategic procurement leader who enjoys building strong partnerships, influencing senior stakeholders and delivering complex sourcing outcomes at scale.

We are looking for someone who:

- Has extensive experience leading strategic procurement, sourcing or category management functions within a large and complex organisation, ideally across technology or ICT environments.
- Builds trusted relationships and can confidently engage, influence and negotiate with executives, government stakeholders, customers and suppliers.
- Brings strong commercial acumen, with demonstrated experience leading high-value procurement programs, managing risk and delivering measurable business outcomes.
- Has proven leadership experience, developing high-performing teams and driving procurement improvements, governance and operational excellence.




- Holds relevant tertiary qualifications in business, procurement, supply chain, technology or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
