Job Details:

Migration Delivery

- Lead Jira and Confluence migration activities from planning through production cutover.

- Coordinate migration waves, testing cycles, and go-live activities.

- Support project, issue, workflow, space, and attachment migration activities.

- Ensure migration deliverables are completed on schedule and meet quality standards.

Technical Leadership

- Provide guidance to Atlassian Engineers, Developers, and Administrators.

- Review configurations, permissions, workflows, schemes, and customizations.

- Validate migration readiness and identify technical risks.

- Drive issue resolution during migration execution.

Application & Integration Support

- Assess Marketplace Apps and migration dependencies.

- Coordinate migration of supported plugins and integrations.

- Support Jira-Confluence application linking and configuration activities.

- Assist with automation and reporting setup in Atlassian Cloud.

Testing & Validation

- Manage SIT, UAT, and post-migration validation activities.

- Coordinate defect tracking and resolution.

- Validate data integrity and user access post migration.

- Support business users during testing and cutover.

Stakeholder Management

- Work closely with client SMEs, application owners, security teams, and project managers.

- Conduct migration workshops, status updates, and technical reviews.

- Provide regular progress reports, risks, and mitigation plans.

Required Skills

- 7-10+ years of Atlassian experience.

- Strong expertise in Jira Software, JSM, and Confluence.





- Experience with Jira Cloud Migration Assistant (JCMA) and Confluence Cloud Migration Assistant (CCMA).

- Strong understanding of workflows, schemes, permissions, automations, and Marketplace Apps.

- Experience supporting enterprise-scale Atlassian migration projects.

- Excellent client communication and leadership skills.

Executive Communication

Detailed - Lead the execution of Jira and Confluence Data Center to Cloud migration activities, ensuring successful planning, configuration, testing, and go-live. Act as the primary technical lead for migration teams and collaborate with architects, client stakeholders, administrators, and developers to deliver a seamless cloud transformation

Minimum Years of Experience: 10+

Certifications Needed: Preferred Certifications

- Atlassian Certified Jira Administrator

- Atlassian Certified Confluence Administrator

- Atlassian Cloud Organization Admin

Atlassian Cloud Migration Certification
