About the role

Adam Gorrell Automotive is seeking a skilled and experienced Auto Electrician to join our team in Mulgrave, NSW. This is a full-time position that offers an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable automotive business, delivering high-quality electrical services to our valued customers. As an Auto Electrician, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in vehicles, ensuring our customers receive reliable and professional service.

This position is based on-site in Mulgrave, NSW 2756, where you will be part of a dedicated team committed to excellence in the automotive trades.

What you'll be doing

- Diagnosing electrical faults and malfunctions in vehicles using specialised diagnostic equipment and tools
- Repairing and replacing faulty electrical components, including starters, alternators, batteries, wiring harnesses, and lighting systems
- Installing and maintaining vehicle electrical systems, including audio systems, security systems, and aftermarket accessories
- Performing routine electrical system inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure vehicle safety and reliability
- Keeping up to date with advances in automotive electrical technology and industry best practices

What we're looking for

- Completed apprenticeship or formal qualification in automotive electrical work
- Current and valid automotive electrician licence or certification recognised in New South Wales
- Proven experience working as an Auto Electrician in a professional workshop environment
- Strong knowledge of vehicle electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and circuit analysis




- Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and electrical testing tools
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship
- A valid driver's licence
